It is with our deepest regrets that we must announce that the Feb. 21, 2021 Kochi Ryoma Marathon has been canceled. We studied every possible way that the race might go ahead, but based on the current status of the coronavirus crisis we determined that it would difficult to hold the 2021 race and be able to guarantee the safety and security of the runners, staff, volunteers and spectators. We apologize to everyone who had been anticipating taking part in the race but ask for your understanding. In place of the Kochi Ryoma Marathon we plan to hold a variety of alternative events, so please check back with us on the official race website for updates. We hope to see an end to the coronavirus crisis soon and will be working hard to put on a great race in 2022. We hope to see you all there. Thank you for your support.
