The 25th annual East Japan Women's Ekiden takes place Nov. 8. The event pits the top runners from each of the prefectures in eastern Japan against each one another with teams including everyone from junior high school students to Olympic marathoners, a prelude to January's National Women's Interprefectural Ekiden. This year the team representing Tokyo will be going for its third-straight win. Fuji TV will broadcast the race live from 12:00 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. Overseas viewers should be able to watch online by clicking here.
