Men`s 400 m hurdles national record holder Dai Tamesue competed in the Herculis Monaco Grand Prix meet on July 29th just days after last weekend`s Aviva London Grand Prix. Tamesue was 7th of eight runners, only one position better than in London, but his time of 49.51 was a marked improvement and just off his winning time from last month`s National Track and Field Championships. Monaco is scheduled to be Tamesue`s last major competition before the Beijing Olympics.
