Seki Kimura, a member of Tokyo-based Second Wind AC, had a tough day in the Dec. 7 Singapore Marathon, finishing 10th in 2:52:25. Second Wind AC head coach Manabu Kawagoe commented, "Kimura experienced some stomach trouble during the race, but this too is part of the marathon. I hope that she can learn from this experience and use it to help her move up to the next level."

Kimura's teammates Kiyoko Shimahara, 3rd at this year's Chicago Marathon, and Kaori Yoshida, winner of the inaugural Casablanca Marathon earlier in the fall, are scheduled to compete in Sunday's Honolulu Marathon.
